The 5 Best Foods for Glowing Skin

I strongly believe that when it comes to beauty, it's best to focus on what you put in your body before what you put on it. Sure, you can buy expensive make up and lotions to help your skin look better, but what good is that if you are putting that on top of dull, dry and tired skin? Here are my favorite top 5 foods to eat to keep your skin looking and feeling its best!

1. Avocados.  Avocados are great for moisturizing the skin. That contain a lot of Vitamin E, which carries antioxidants. Antioxidants are great for your skin because they help prevent the visible aging of skin.Avocados are also a good thing to put on your skin. You can use it as a moisturizing mask that leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth.

2. Blueberries.  These tasty little guys are packed full of vitamins that neutralize your skins natural oils. they also help your skin maintain collagen and elastin to keep your skin looking young, bright and fresh! my favorite way to eat these are in oatmeal or in a morning smoothy.

3. Wild Salmon.  Salmon is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which keeps your skin moisturized and supple. this food also helps protect your skin from sun exposure with a mineral called Selenium. I love backed salmon with a little lemon squeezed on top or raw on sushi.

4. Walnuts.  Theses are great because you only need about a handful a day to gain the wonderful benefits of this mighty little superfood. Enjoy as a snack or over a salad once a day and you will start seeing smoother skin, brighter eyes and shinier hair!

5. Eggs.  I don't really eat animals, but eggs are always part of my breakfast. Eggs contain 2 key nutrients called Choline and Lutein. The Choline in eggs helps build fatty portions of skins cell membranes. It also regulates Vitamin B, which firms collagen and elastin in your skin. Lutein is full of antioxidants and helps prevent skin damage.

With so many ways to enjoy these delicious, skin saving foods.. It's easy to have a beautiful, glowing completion even without all the makeup!

He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not

“What do I do if I like a boy/girl and I think they like me too, but I’m not sure?”

This is a question I’ve been seeing a lot. So many people, including myself, have wondered the same thing! If only it was as easy as picking flower petals and singing “he loves me, he loves me not” to know if someone feels the same way about you. Here is what I did in the same situation.

About 4 years ago I worked together with this guy at a movie theater. He was tall, handsome and so sweet! Needless to say, I developed a huge crush. We started talking and I always wondered if he liked me too, but was too afraid to make it obvious that I had feelings for him.

One afternoon, I went to a Party of a mutual work friend, and he was there. He said “hi” and then sat down, talking to another girl. For the longest time I nervously sat at the other end of the room, not even looking at him. Then suddenly I decided, “it’s better to make a move and just see what happens instead of sitting alone the whole time.” So, I quickly picked up my chair, set it next to his, sat down and started talking to him. We talked all night! And now we have been together happily for 4 years💕

So, if you are having trouble taking the next step getting close to someone because you’re not exactly sure how they feel, I say, take the chance! Nothing great in life ever comes without taking a little risk. So go say hello, hang out with them, and start a conversation. They might just end up being someone special in your life!

Creating Different Looks With One Outfit

I love wearing lots of different fashion looks From cute and frilly to dark and edgy, I love it all. But what I DON'T love is having to spend a fortune on a hundred different clothing items just to get those different looks.

All that clutter and all those choices give me a headache! So here is how I keep it real while keeping it real simple.

First I start out by picking my closet "staples." These are the items that hold your fashion looks together. These items should be simple, and go with a lot of different colors and accessories.

My staple items are usually black leggings and a neutral colored tank top.For a cute girly look I put on my tank top and leggings and just add a colorful scarf in a light pink, blue, or purple.

I match that with fun jewelry, like bangles, rose gold rings or a necklace with bows, flowers or hearts. I put on a pair of light colored flats or gold sandals to complete this look.

For something a little edgier, I wear my tank top and legging with a black skirt. (I always wear my foux leather mini skirt). For jewelry, I go with a choker or a necklace with raw stones. Add some black, tall or ankle boots and I have a brand new look!
